Dango Shop

The Dango Shop (だんご屋, Dangoya; Literally meaning "Dumpling Shop") is a popular, well-known shop in Konohagakure that's famous for its dango. The shop serves many other desserts that use dango in them, such as anmitsu, a popular Japanese dessert that is served in a bowl consisting of red bean paste (餡子, anko), small cubes of agar jelly, and pieces of fruit served with syrup. The shop's sign is in a form of a stick with white-coloured dango run through it. The kanji for dango (だんご) is painted red on them. The inside of the shop is simple with wooden tables, rectangular-shaped lights, and menus that hang all over the walls for customers to look at.

Forty-Fourth Training Ground

The Forty-Fourth Training Ground (第44演習場, Daiyonjūyon Enshūjō), also known as the Forest of Death (死の森, Shi no Mori), was the stage for the second part of the Konoha Chūnin Exams, proctored by Anko Mitarashi. Its primary function served as a testing ground for the survival and fighting skills of genin trying to become a chūnin. It was a very dangerous place, filled with hordes of flora and fauna; often gigantic, poisonous — or even more likely, both — hence its name. A metallic fence surrounds its perimeter with 44 gates equally spaced around it; this perimeter is where the shinobi entered. Inside is a river, the forest, and a tower located in the exact centre; the forest's radius is about ten kilometres. It lies on the north of the Forty-Third Training Ground (第43演習場, Daiyonjūsan Enshūjō).[1]

Ramen Ichiraku Shop

Ramen Ichiraku (ラーメン一楽, Rāmen Ichiraku) is a restaurant in Konohagakure owned by Teuchi. It is also Naruto Uzumaki and Iruka Umino's favourite place to eat. It is run by Teuchi and his daughter Ayame. The two consider Naruto their favourite customer and have never viewed him in a negative light. In Part II of the manga, Ayame goes on a trip and Matsu and Nishi are hired to replace her. Both are fairly inept and either spill the ramen they serve or accidentally stick their fingers in it. The bar was destroyed during Pain's invasion and a new one was built sometime after the invasion. In the anime, it can be assumed that Inari helped build the new bar, as he told Naruto he would build him an amazing Ichiraku Ramen.

This building first appeared during the Chūnin Exams, when Asuma Sarutobi, Kurenai Yūhi and Kakashi Hatake stayed there while the genin took the first part of the exam. Outside the station, there are two signs: a large, round green sign with the kanji for up (上, ue), short for jōnin (上忍), and a smaller brown sign below it with the kanji that says "human life is varied" (人生色々, jinsei iroiro), a proverb referring to life having its ups and downs. The lounge inside the station is a circular room with multiple windows, long red sofas that surrounds a single pillar with plants growing round it and a small green vent.

Konoha Hospital

The Konoha Hospital (木ノ葉病院, Konoha byōin) serves the medical needs of ninja and other villagers in Konohagakure. Though the staff is skilled enough to treat most basic ailments, Tsunade and other more advanced medical-nin must step in to assist with severe injuries. Security for the hospital is apparently lax, as Gaara is able to get into Rock Lee's room to try and kill him and Naruto managed to sneak out and get ramen.

In the main hall, beneath the seventh tatami mat from the far right, is a secret meeting place of the Uchiha clan. In there is a tablet containing the clan's secrets. The tablet can only be read with specific dōjutsu: the basic Sharingan is able to decipher a minimal amount of the information, even more of it if the person possesses the Mangekyō Sharingan, and only the Rinnegan is able to read the entire tablet. Here the secrets of the Mangekyō Sharingan are written, as is the story of the Sage of the Six Paths and the Ten-Tailed Beast.

Third Training Ground

The Third Training Ground (第三演習場, Daisan Enshūjō) is a training ground where Konoha shinobi honed their skills. The Third Training Ground was the first place Team Kakashi trained, using the bell training that the Third Hokage had once used on his own students. Sakura and Sasuke tried to get the bells and failed, while Naruto was trying to skip the bell training and just go after the reward without getting the bell. Because of this, Naruto ended being tied up while forced to watch his comrades eat, after which they would be given a second chance for the bells. But Sasuke and Sakura, realizing they would work better as a team if Naruto was not hungry, broke the rule and gave Naruto some of their food. Because of this, Kakashi, their Jonin sensei, passed them saying that "In the ninja world, those who break the rules and regulations are called trash, but those who don't care about their comrades are worse than trash."After about three years, Naruto and Sakura once again had the same bell training with Kakashi so he could see how they had improved. Kakashi is able to see the results of their training with Tsunade and Jiraiya, but they were still unable to beat him until Naruto threatens to tell Kakashi the conclusion of the new "Icha Icha" book, making Kakashi cover his ears so he can't hear them, then closing his eyes to prevent his Sharingan from reading their lips. They then took the bells, and Naruto revealed that he had only read the first ten pages, to Kakashi's humiliation.

Yakiniku Q

The Yakiniku Q (焼肉Q, Yakiniku Kyū) is the favourite Korean, Gyū-Kaku-style yakiniku restaurant of Team Asuma that is located in Konohagakure. Its salted beef tongue with Welsh onion (ネギタン塩, negi tanshio) is very popular. Asuma Sarutobi first took Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yamanaka, and Chōji Akimichi when they met and continued to be regular customers throughout the Naruto series, only going there when they completed a mission and when they host celebrations, such as when Shikamaru was promoted to chūnin. The restaurant is large with wide windows, multiple green-seated booths, though some tables allow customers to sit down on the floor with green cushions as their seats, menus plastered on the walls, and due to their Gyū-Kaku-style, each table has a charcoal brazier built in the centre and is equipped with tongs for cooking, since the Gyū-Kaku form of dining is when the customers cooked their own food after they ordered the food raw.

Akagahara

The Akagahara, is a place where Chūnin Exams were held in the past. The Genin in these old days dreamt of becoming the best ninja and went there. Only those who returned safely were accepted as Chūnin. But as time passed, it turned into a legend which said that your wish would come true if you returned safety. There are a lot of traps to prevent anyone from entering. In the centre of the area there is a statue surrounded with crimson clovers. When the statue is removed from its place, marionette ninja squad was activated and they can be stopped only when the statue is returned to its original place.
